OCBC Singapore Theatre Festival 6 – 24 August 2008 Drama Centre & Esplanade Theatre Studio W!LD RICE presents the biennial OCBC Singapore Theatre Festival, which runs again this year from 6 – 24 August!

Dubbed “the main event in the world of the arts” by The Straits Times, all 14 plays featured in the festival will be World Premieres, and W!LD RICE will be joined by other theatre companies, presenting a hugely varied and exciting programme. From bold, funny and irreverent to whimsical, thought provoking and beautiful, from the personal and intimate, to fantastic and epic, 2008’s plays represent the ideas of a generation of theatre artists reflecting on the problems and possibilities of our times.
