Singapore Lyric Opera
The Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO), formed in 1990, is the only professional western opera company which brings to Singapore audience a regular season of operas, musical theatre and concerts. In the last couple of years, SLO 's production of operas like Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and concerts like Viva Verdi were well received and critically acclaimed. Audiences of all ages can look forward to seeing more quality productions like Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Verdi's La Traviata, and musical works like The Reluctant Dragon and The Wind in the Willows in the next few months.
