What is the PAssion ez-Link Card?

Introduced in April 2005, the PAssion Card is a membership card for People’s Association (PA). The PAssion Card is certainly more than just another membership or discount card; it serves the unique purpose of connecting members of the public with their community by engaging them via a host of exciting and wholesome activities by Community Clubs (CCs) and other PA outlets.

Convenience of e-payment

• With the new CEPAS capability incorporated in the card, PAssion ez-link Card Members will be able to experience the convenience of contactless payment at over 8,300 transaction points including payment of courses and activities at all the CCs and PA outlets, multiple transit services such as MRT and buses, ERP/EPS parking charges as well as retail purchases.

EZ-link card Top Up

• A new top-up device for the PAssion ez-link Card has been installed at 105 CCs, where Members can enjoy the convenience of topping up their PAssion ez-link Card at no extra cost.
  
  
• The new top-up device will contribute to promoting the convenience of cashless payments as it is compatible with direct debit transactions made from DBS and POSB accounts.

Discounts and Privileges at CCs, PA outlets and PAssion Merchants

• Enjoy Member’s Rate for all the CCs’ courses, activities and facilities, and privileges at other PA outlets such as Water-Venture Outlets, Outward Bound Singapore, The WEARHouse (PA’s costumes rental service), Chingay Parade as well as some other activities and facilities under PA;
  
  
• PAssion ez-link Card Members will get a further 2% off Member’s Rate when the card is used for payment at CCs and other PA Units such as Water Venture Outlets. (This is the best discount accorded to members and for members who transact online, they will also be accorded this best discount); and
  
  
• Enjoy discounts at over 600 PAssion Merchant outlets including outlets at SMRT Xchange, recruited by PA.

NLB – PAssion Card Collaboration

• NEW! Enjoy free National Library Board (NLB) Premium Membership^[1] for 5 years when you renew your membership today.

^[1] From 1^st Aug 2011, all NEW PAssion ez-link Card Holders will automatically enjoy a free NLB Premium Membership for the duration of the PAssion ez-link Card membership. For existing PAssion ez-link Card Holders who have signed up before 1^st Aug 2011, they can visit any of the 24 public libraries to activate the free NLB Premium Membership (worth $21 per year). The expiry date of the NLB Premium Membership will be aligned to the expiry date of the PAssion ez-link Card Membership. The NLB Premium Membership is only applicable to PAssion ez-link Card Holders who are Singaporeans or Singapore PRs. Supplementary Members (children under 18 years old without a card who are tagged to their Parent's Principal PAssion ez-link Card) and PAssion Card Members who still hold the old PAssion Card (wavy black card) will not be able enjoy this privilege. You will need to sign up or upgrade to the PAssion ez-link Card to enjoy this benefit. Membership fees for renewal apply.

EzRewards Privileges

• Earn EzRewards points at both transit and non-transit merchants.
  
  
• Starting 10 August 2010, PAssion EzRewards Members will get rewarded for using their PAssion ez-link Card for public transportation (public buses, MRT and LRT).

Dairy Farm Singapore (DFS) TapForMore Rewards Programme

• From 1st April 2010, PAssion ez-link Card Members can enjoy a host of exciting privileges at retail banners under Dairy Farm Singapore (DFS) such as Cold Storage, Market Place and Shop N Save supermarkets; Giant hypermarkets and Guardian Health & Beauty stores. Membership fee of the PAssion ez-link Card

The new 5-year PAssion ez-link Card membership comes with a longer membership period at an affordable membership fee. As an introductory promotion for the first two years, the new membership fees are as follow:

• Principal Card (for those between 18 to < 60 years old): $12 (U.P: $15)
  
  
• Principal Card (for those of ages <18 years & ≥ 60 years old) : $10 (U.P: $12)
  
  
• Supplementary Card (applicable to spouse of Principal Card member Only): $10 (U.P: $12)

** To encourage more families to participate in PA programmes, PA has two schemes to encourage participation:

a) Spouse of the principal card member can sign up as supplementary card member. Instead of paying $12, they will enjoy a $2 off the membership fees and pay only $10; and

b) Children below 18 can tag as Supplementary members to their parent’s Principal Card at no additional cost. However, these children will have no cards issued to them.

Number of PAssion Card / PAssion ez-link Card Members

As of January 2010, there are over 740,000 PAssion Card / PAssion ez-link Card Members consisting of youths, working adults, families and senior citizens. Out of which, there are over 30,000 Grassroots Leaders and PA staff who hold the Platinum PAssion ez-link Card while the others hold the Black PAssion Card/PAssion ez-link Card.
